MERCHANDISE FAQs
How long will my order take? All orders placed by Thursday night will be shipped the following Monday. If you live in the continental US, your order is sent ground UPS from southern California. You can calculate from there how long the shipment will take to reach you. If you do not live in the continental US the order is shipped regular mail, please be patient. We do not know how long international shipments will take. It depends on the country among other things. If Asia is sick, shooting, or out of town doing appearances, that can add a week or more since she has to be here to sign your merchandise. There is no big corporation here. There are three of us here filling out orders, so cut us a little bit of slack if something goes wrong or your order takes a little longer than it should. Please do not email us asking about the status of your order unless it is excessively late.
Dude, it's been a month or more. Where's my bleepin order? If you've patiently waited 4 weeks (note: foreign orders can take up to two months, due to delays in customs), then e-mail help@asiacarrera.com with your NAME, your ORDER #, and the DATE you placed your order. (attaching a copy of your receipt to the e-mail helps a lot!) We ship via UPS, so we'll track down your item's shipping # and let you know what's up. If there is a problem, you will be given your choice of a refund or a reship. If you think your foreign order is lost, there is nothing we can do. We will provide you with a proof of shipment slip from the post office upon request, but there is nothing we can do to find your package since it cannot be tracked. We do not refund or reship foreign orders, it is up to you to shoulder the cost if the order is lost.
My order is damaged/broken/incorrect. What should I do? If your order was broken or damaged during shipping, e-mail help@asiacarrera.com with your NAME, your ORDER#, the DATE you placed your order, and the ITEM(s) that were damaged. Please KEEP the damaged packaging for inspection by UPS. We will contact UPS to pick up the damaged goods from you, and we will ship a replacement to you, at no charge. If your order is damaged in any way not due to shipping (ie: movie won't play), or you received a product different from what you ordered, then simply return it, along with your NAME, ORDER#, and a brief description of the problem. I will immediately ship a replacement product to you, and reimburse you for the cost of returning the defective/incorrect item.
Do you take special requests? I will make every reasonable effort to attend to special requests for rush orders, and/or special personalizations. Special requests for polaroids/lingerie will be granted at my sole discretion, depending on the mood I'm in when I'm filling orders. If you have a really special request, like purchasing my old shoes, or items of clothing, you can try your luck by submitting it in writing to "Asia Carrera, 1055 W. Red Cliffs Drive #C, PMB 143, Washington, UT 84780". Before you ask - no, I don't do personalized videos, and yes, offering me lots of money is always a good way to get a positive response. :)
So what happens if I make a donation? Well, you get to feel good about yourself! That's what donations are for, right? Hehehe! OK, I have been known to give surprise bonus gifts for donations, ranging from autographed movie slicks and trading cards, to signed magazine layouts and screening copies of upcoming Asia movies, depending on the size of the donation. But I won't promise anything, because I want people to make donations only if they really enjoy my site/work, and not just to get "special item #242".
How do I cancel my paysite membership? To cancel just send your USERNAME and PASSWORD to help@asiacarrera.com at least 3 days before your next billing cycle. Please don't send a blank e-mail that just says 'cancel me', because we don't have psychic power. If you've forgotten your username/password, then send your REAL NAME, and the E-MAIL ADDRESS you used when you signed up, and we'll track your info down that way.
How long will it take to cancel my subscription? After you send an e-mail to help@asiacarrera.com, your membership status will be set to expire at the end of your 30-day period, and you will not be billed any further. You can cancel anytime, and your membership will continue until your 30 days are up, but please make sure you do give AT LEAST 3 DAYS NOTICE, so there is time to cancel you before the next 30-day billing cycle starts. (if you cancel with less than 3 days notice, or after the new billing cycle starts, you WILL BE BILLED for one more 30 day period!) You should receive a confirmation email of the cancellation, but you'll know you've been cancelled when your username and password won't work anymore at the end of 30 days.
How long does it take to get my password? You should receive your password within a few minutes, provided you entered your email address correctly. If you don't get your password, email help@asiacarrera.com. You can also try getting "live" help.
Can I get "live" help? Send an email first. If you have a problem with not getting email, you can try talking to "me2" in my chat room. Just private message him your first name and problem. He will pull up your records and confirm your address (in private), so you'll know you're talking to the authorized person who can help. Bear in mind that "me2" is sometimes occupied with other things and may not answer you immediately.
Will I get spam from you? Nope. The email address you give is only used to send you password and order information. It is never shared with anyone else for any reason. We won't even try to sell you more Asia stuff.
Why was my credit card rejected? It could be that you mistyped the credit card info, or possibly a net hiccup when our computer was verifying your data with the master credit card computer of the universe. If you're sure your card is valid, then double-check that all the other information is correct as well. Your application can be rejected for entering an invalid home address or email address, so don't try to fudge anything! If you have another card, try that. Help can be sought from help@asiacarrera.com. If nothing works, you can mail me a check or money order (see next FAQ), and I'll submit you manually.
I was told my credit card was rejected, why was I still billed? Whenever you place orders online, the service will request a preauthorization on your credit card. To your credit card company it will look like a billing even though it isn't. Specifically ask them if it is a preauthorization, if they actually look at it, they will be able to tell you.
Why doesn't my password work? No passwords contain lowercase L's. If your password has a letter that looks something like this: l, it is a capital i.
Can I join the pay section by mail, using a check or money order? Yes. Send your check or money order to me at "Asia Carrera, 1055 W. Redcliff Dr #C, PMB 143, Washington, UT 84780", and include your full NAME, home ADDRESS, EMAIL address, and the username you would like to use. I will e-mail you when the check has cleared and your account is activated.
I have a different question...
